These are uncertain times. Governor DeWine has allowed restaurants and buffets to reopen. But some of the Senior Centers are still closed. And others will start to reopen their dining rooms soon.
The restaurants are dealing with 2 major problems. First and foremost is staffing. They can't find employees. And they can't keep employees. So their staffs are working a lot of overtime. And the restaurants have cut back on their hours. Some have even been forced to close one or two days a week. I believe this will be a long-term problem.
Restaurants are also dealing with massive inflation and supply chain disruptions. Many of the restaurants have been forced to raise their prices 25% - 100%. It is very unlikely their suppliers will lower their prices. And it is entirely possible wage increases will make the problem worse.
